Scraplr v.0.2a
The objective of this test phase is to give the tester a feel of how the Scraplr web app interacts with the user. Therefore we can gain feedback for improvement. While technically, not to be misunderstood as underestimate; its possible to add features, but we think the most important part is how the user would perceive the usability of the application itself.
Task management :
- Move task between containers by dragging the task item and dropping it onto "destination" container tab.
- Mark completed, remove, log and publish buttons are "droppable" which means user can drop task on top of it to invoke specific command.
- Tags for task items can be created by entering text within the task tag HUD, or create it "on the fly" from within the task item by typing and pressing "enter".
- Tags for tasks can be added by dragging the taggable item from HUD and dropping on top of particular task item.
Task posting:
During alpha testing, tasks can only be created within the application, other means such as posting through email, tweets and text message will be available in the public beta release.
Social networking integration:
- Currently scraplr is using Facebook connect to post and fetch comments posted related to specific task(s).
- When "Tweet link to this task" option is enabled, scraplr will include a tr.immed link in a tweet and continuously monitor any reply to this tweet.
Reminder :
- For reminder through Twitter's network, we send it by Direct Message, therefore you need to follow us to be able to receive reminder. With consideration that you don't want your task to be visible by public mention.
- Reminders by instant message is still in development, and will be pushed to the beta release
- Reminders by text message are expected to be more reliable in the beta release
Limitations :
- During testing, SMS (text message) reminders will not be available for all testers, only randomly picked testers will test this feature.
- Reminders by text message to the tester's mobile phone will be limited to 2 (two) text messages per day per tester
- Reminders by Instant Message will only be provided to testers who have MSN/Live and YM. More support will be added in the beta release.
- Task submissions will only be available by email and tweet.
